Making Eco-Friendly Shri Ganesha Idols

  Akhil Bharatiya Shree Swami Samarth Gurupeeth, Trimbakeshwar, Nashik have been working relentlessly though an ‘Eighteen point Rural and Urban Development Program’ for upliftment of society for the past 70 years. Amongst all these activities highest importance is given to Child and Youth development through its Value Education (Balsanskar) and Youth Empowerment Cell.

  Moving ahead with this mission, on the auspicious occasion of Shree Ganseha Utsav, we had organized a mass scale event where total 11,001 number of students from Balsanskar classes and various schools participated in making Eco-friendly Shri Ganesha idols containing plants seed inside. Through this activity they gave a message of tree plantation and its conservation too. Another special feature of the event was recitation of Shri Ganesh Stotram while making these clay idols. These Ganesh idols made available for selling at a very affordable price only to contribute the collection towards charity and flood affected areas. Various dignitaries from different fields graced the event by their presence and appreciated efforts taken by all participants.
